Our time in Walnut Grove Minnesota
July 18th, 2019
This past weekend I was asked to go to Walnut Grove Minnesota for the 45th anniversary of the TV show The Little House on the Prairie. This request was not only important to me because of what I do as a career and writing about the Landon family Legacy both Michael Landon senior and Junior. It was important to me simply because it was my first job with Trackr by my side. It was the first time I was able to show in public how Trackr has made me more independent as a person. I was concerned how he would do with the crowds as there was a little over 2,000 visitors reported this past weekend in the small town of Walnut Grove Minnesota. He has never been around a group of this magnitude, but he did so well that he impressed many people over the weekend. I was also able to go two blocks past the park to a historical neighborhood independently for the first time thanks to my buddy Trackr. We did find out quickly that he is terrified of horses at the pageant. I remedy that situation by telling him “You’re ok Trackr,” and once he settled down, I gave him a treat. It is nice to know that when I am asked to be in these situations that I will have him by my side and I won’t have to worry about his reactions when it comes to all the people interacting with us.
I look forward to many more convention and reunions to come. With him, as my partner, I feel more confident in being able to do things for myself during these events, and for that, I am forever thankful.
